What is MINECON Live?
MINECON Live is a worldwide celebration of the game Minecraft, its community, and the joy that Minecraft continues to bring people around the world. It’s filmed live and beamed across the world via the internet! It will be around 90 minutes long, packed with juicy Minecraft info and future updates, and will include pre- and post- show bits, as well as some community panels. This year’s show will be broadcast out of Nashville, TN, in front of a live, studio audience. It will be hosted by Lydia Winters and some of your favorite creators.

What does it mean to be in the live, studio audience?
Attendees in the live, studio audience will be front and center when the MINECON show comes to life in the broadcast shared with millions of viewers across the world. Each audience member will be an active part of the excitement of the show. This isn’t going to be one of those show’s that you just sit and watch. The audience will be fully engaged with laughter, clapping and appropriate howls and cheers.
Will there be SWAG or merchandise available at the show?
The audience will receive an exclusive, commemorative wristband allowing entrance and post show bragging rights as well as an exclusive plush sheep celebrating Minecraft’s 10-year anniversary.
What are live panels?
There will not be live panels this year. But, after the show, select panels will be released to viewers on our official Minecraft YouTube channel featuring topics requested by the community. More information will be released later on the topics and panelists
Will there be a costume contest?
There will not be an official costume contest this year. But, Minecraft-inspired costumes and attire are encouraged to be worn at the show.
What is the best way to get to Nashville Municipal Auditorium?
From Franklin/Brentwood via I-65N, take exit 82A to merge onto I-40 W/I-65 N toward Louisville/Memphis. Take exit 209 (Church St/Charlotte Ave). Go straight to the third stop light and turn right onto Charlotte Ave. Go down Charlotte to 5th Ave North and turn left at the stop light onto 5th Ave North. The Auditorium will be on your right.
From Goodlettsville via I-65S, continue onto I-24E following signs for Chattanooga/Knoxville. Take exit 48, James Robertson Parkway. Stay straight to go onto Interstate Drive. Turn right onto James Robertson Parkway and cross the Victory Memorial Bridge. The Auditorium is located on your left at the fourth stop light after you cross the bridge.
From Murfreesboro via I-24W, take exit 48, James Robertson Parkway. Bear to your right onto the parkway and cross the Victory Memorial Bridge. The Auditorium is located on your left at the fourth stop light after you cross the bridge.
From Clarksville via I-24E, take exit 48, James Robertson Parkway. Stay straight to go onto Interstate Drive. Turn right onto James Robertson Parkway and cross the Victory Memorial Bridge. The Auditorium is located on your left at the fourth stop light after you cross the bridge.
From Lebanon via I-40WE, take a slight right onto I-24W. Take exit 48, James Robertson Parkway towards the State Capitol and cross the Victory Memorial Bridge. The Auditorium is located on your left at the fourth stop light after you cross the bridge.
From Memphis via I-40E, take exit 209 (Charlotte Ave). Turn left at the stop light at the end of the ramp onto Charlotte Avenue. Travel down Charlotte to 5th Ave North and turn left at the stoplight on 5th Avenue. The Auditorium will be on your right.

I want to take video and post on my YouTube channel. Is that allowed?
Can I film or take pictures at the event?
Yes, providing you are not planning to use anything for commercial purposes.
Please note: The organizers will be taking pictures and filming the event. By attending MINECON Live, you agree to your image being used for future publicity and marketing of the event.
Will I need to show ID?
Yes. A government issued ID will be required to enter. If a child under the age of 18 does not have ID, the parent or guardian will need to show their ID.
Can I wait for my child outside the event?
Children aged 18 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. To qualify as a guardian, you need to be 18 years or older.
Is there ADA access for this event?
Yes. Nashville Municipal Auditorium is handicap accessible.
Will there be coat check?
No. A coat check will not be provided.
Will strollers be allowed?
It is not recommended to bring strollers as there is no storage space and they will not fit in the live studio.
Will food be provided?
Food will not be provided, but concession stands will be open to purchase snacks prior to the show.
Can we bring in outside F&B?
No food or drink is permitted to be brought into Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
Will there be medical assistance onsite, if needed?
There will be a medic at the event.
I need a Mother’s Room to pump. Is there one?
There are women’s restrooms available at the venue.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations will be permitted. Please contact the registration team at registration@MINECONregistration.com to cancel your ticket.
Can tickets be transferred?
Yes. Please contact the registration team at registration@MINECONregistration.com to provide the new name of who will be attending and who will be replaced.
Are backpacks allowed?
Yes. Be prepared to have them searched. See more information below.
What can I bring into the event? Will I be searched?
All event attendees and staff are subject to search prior to entry, including members of the media. By requesting entry into MINECON Live, all persons shall be subject to a thorough search, including emptying pockets and bags, and having your items examined. Microsoft shall, at all times, reserve the right to either deny any person entry into or to eject any person from the event, who in the sole and absolute discretion of Microsoft are in violation of event rules or the MS Code of Conduct, which rules may be updated from time to time, with or without notice.
- Cosplay and other costumes determined to be safe by security
- Prop/Replica weapons as part of cosplay or other costumes
- Must be submitted to security for review
- Cannot contain a moving bolt mechanism or fire any projectile (including soft)
- Must be visibly tagged and visually identified as “safe”
- Cannot be pointed at any individual in such a way to cause fear of harm or distress
- Cell Phones
- Action cameras, such as GoPro’s
- Prescription medication (you must have the prescription/label in your name with you)
- Illegal or illicit substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, guns, ammo, pocket knives, sharp-edge blades, self-defense sprays, or any item deemed as unsafe by security staff
- Flammable items or liquids including aerosols and fireworks
- Large backpacks, coolers, or lawn chairs exceeding 24”x19”x20”
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after thorough inspection
- Outside alcohol
- Outside food and beverage
- Chairs, blankets, sleeping bags or tents
- Bicycles, skateboards, hover-boards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles
- Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
- Animals except for service animals assisting an individual with a disability
- “Comfort,” “therapy” or “emotional support” animals do not meet the ADA definition of a service animal. Security may permit working dogs or other animals as required.
- Laser pens, laser pointers, or similar focused light devices
- Noisemakers such as megaphones, air horns, sirens, whistles, or other devices which may interfere with others’ experience
- Any item that is not lawfully permitted to be carried in the locality or City of Nashville
- Additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of Microsoft staff or security
